MMUA Services

Government Relations
The Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association is affiliated with and works closely with the American Public Power Association and the American Public Gas Association on federal issues. MMUA's legislative team actively represents member cities' interests on a wide variety of state legislative issues in St. Paul. MMUA is also very active in dealing with federal and state agencies on regulatory issues.

Drug and Alcohol Testing Consortium
Federal rules require cities to have a drug and alcohol testing program in place for commercial drivers' license holders. MMUA's Drug and Alcohol Testing Consortium enables its members to meet these requirements with a minimum of effort and expense.

The Resource
Our monthly newsletter, The Resource, provides in-depth coverage of the issues and events that affect municipal utilities.

The Connector
The Connector
customer newsletter service is prepared by MMUA staff and customized for each city, using the utility's ideas and input.
