MMUA is pleased to partner with American Public Power Association to sponsor our Generation School along with our host facilities in Fairmont and Madelia. You will find training for well-seasoned operators or for those just starting in the generation field.

•How to assess power plant employees who are exposed to hazards of flames or electric arcs and ensure safety precautions are taken to reduce risks. Go over job briefings, personal protection equipment, host employer/contractor provisions (information transfer) and other significant changes.

A certificate of achievement will be sent to the utility managers of each participant. Hours of attendance acquired will be reflected on the certificate.
$440 per student for members; $690 per student for non-members. All fees increase $50 on or after April 1.
Fee includes: workshop tuition, materials, Product Show, refreshment breaks, lunch and a certificate of achievement.
A refund will be given on advance registrations if the MMUA office is notified by 4:30 pm on March 31. A cancellation fee of $25 per person will be charged.
