Utilities Urged to Attend CIP Reporting Meeting

On Thursday, August 20, the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources will host the first of two meetings for utilities and other stakeholders to provide feedback on the Energy Savings Platform (ESP) online program for reporting Conservation Improvement Program (CIP) data and managing utility CIP programs.

MMUA encourages all utilities with questions or concerns about ESP to attend.

Advisory Committee Objective

  • Forum for utilities to provide feedback on ESP and to prioritize areas of improvement.
  • Language from 2014 Session Law Chapter 312, Article 3, Section 18: Commerce may utilize a stakeholder group to annually monitor the usability and product development of systems for electronic data reporting and tracking for the use of utilities under the conservation improvement plan program.
