ALASD is a governmental subdivision of the State of Minnesota and was formed by legislation in 1971. The ALASD serves a 100 square mile territory and has roughly 11,000 connection accounts (24,000 Population Equivalent). Over 200 lift stations convey wastewater to a 4.7 Million Gallon per Day advanced wastewater treatment facility.
