THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED following the State of Minnesota's strategies in response to COVID-19.

MMUA is pleased to offer the 2020 PCB Management & Record-keeping Workshop. This program is one of few available that specifically focuses on the topic of managing PCBs and PCB items.

This program includes active discussion and a variety of real-life examples that participants will work through. Plus, each participant will receive a PCB management reference manual, with numerous sample forms and templates.

This workshop can benefit individuals responsible for PCB management at all levels of experience. Those who have recently been assigned PCB management responsibilities from a predecessor will find the class to be especially helpful.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is intended for and can benefit individuals responsible for PCB management; those who have recently been assigned PCB management responsibilities; and others interested in learning more and staying on top of their PCB program.

About the Instructor

Mark Pennell is President and CEO of Regulatory Compliance Services, Inc. (RCS), a PCB management and liability assessment firm based in Springfield, Missouri.

RCS specializes in PCB regulatory compliance and risk management, and currently provides diagnostic and educational services for more than 400 municipal, rural and investor-owned electric utility clients throughout the U.S.

Mark founded RCS in 1986 and has gained national recognition for his expertise in the EPA's PCB rules codified under 40 CFR Part 761. He was selected by EPA Headquarters to assist in updating the Agency's "Questions and Answers Document", their online resource which acts as the primary reference point for electric utilities, and others within the regulated community, when searching for regulatory interpretations and clarification.

Mark has spent his entire 32-year career providing expertise within this unique sole-subject discipline. He maintains contacts and interacts directly with EPA officials in all 10 EPA regional offices as well as EPA Headquarters personnel in Washington, D.C.

Certificates

Participants earn hours for attendance and a certificate of achievement will be available online. Participants should watch for an email notification from MMUA.

Registration Fee

Members: $750 per student
Non-Members: $875 per student

All fees increase $50 on February 7, 2020. Deadline to register is February 18, 2020.

Registration fee includes: Tuition, materials and supplies including a PCB Management Reference Manual, lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, refreshment breaks and attendance certificate.

Cancellations/Refunds

MMUA will issue a refund, minus a $30 per person processing fee, provided MMUA is notified of the cancellation by 4:30 pm on February 18, 2020. Sorry, no refunds issued for cancellations after February 18.
