Severe weather or other natural disaster ‘Acts of God’ can hit any city/utility, at any time and the damage it can cause is unpredictable and often wide-spread.

Critical services--electricity, gas, water, waste water, communication, etc.--and public safety are essential for everyday living and commerce.

Customers are understanding when an unusual event disrupts services; they may not be as understanding if disaster strikes and you don’t have a plan on how to respond, quickly and effectively.

Training, exercising and planning provides an opportunity to collaborate with your local and statewide responders to find solutions to address those inevitable, unexpected consequences that emergencies present.

Join other city and utility professionals; hear from industry experts; collaborate with MMUA as we continue to improve our mutual aid and emergency response and restoration efforts; and engage in open-forum and roundtable discussions to gain valuable insight that is sure to help you handle the next emergency situation more effectively.
