The Basic Metering Pre-Conference is ideal as an introductory course on the "the basics" or as a refresher on basic metering. This course is recommended especially for those with limited metering experience and anyone taking the Basic/Intermediate Meter School class.

Larry Chapman from Chapman Metering
Larry Chapman is highly qualified and highly respected, having worked in the metering field his entire career. Larry and others from Chapman Metering have been long-term instructors at the Meter School.
John Pollard from TSTM, Inc.
John Pollard is the Director of Technical Operations for TSTM, Inc. John has more than 25 years of experience in the metering field.
Individuals registered in MMUA's On-Site Apprenticeship program are able to use the hours from this school toward completing a portion of your apprenticeship!
Participants earn hours for attendance. A certificate of achievement will be emailed after the event.
Members — $115 per person
Non-members — $265 per person
All fees increase $50 on January 17, 2022.
Registration fee includes tuition, materials, refreshment breaks and a certificate of achievement. Note: Wednesday lunch is provided if registered for both the Pre-Conference and the Meter School.
MMUA will issue a refund (less $30 processing fee per person) provided MMUA is notified of the cancellation by 4:30 pm on January 27, 2022. Sorry no refunds after January 27.
