Members of MMUA can attend this complementary training clinic to help you prepare for the 2018 Public Power Lineworkers Rodeo in Wake Forest, North Carolina, or the 2nd annual Minnesota Lineworkers Rodeo in September in Marshall.
Teams and individuals who are planning on competing at the Rodeo are invited to attend MMUA's free Lineworker Rodeo Clinic. At the clinic, participants can expect to hear from individuals who have competed in previous Rodeos and can gain valuable first-hand insight and tips.
MMUA’s Lineworker Rodeo Clinic will cover a number of useful topics, including:
In addition, participants will have an opportunity to run through a few of the events built indoors.
Keep in mind that for the 2018 Public Power Lineworkers Rodeo, Journeyman event competitions involve a 3-person team. An Apprentice can compete with the Journeyman, but must remain as their ground person. All Apprentice event competitions are individual events.
