Training for operators

The annual MMUA Generation School will be held April 16-18, 2024. This school offers hands-on training on Fairbanks Morse and Cooper/ Enterprise engine sets. At this school, you will find training for well-seasoned operators or for those just starting in the generation field.

Hands-on instruction at the plants may include such topics as:

  • Setting Up CB Fuel Doors
  • Combustion Tuning and Balancing
  • Pull Cards
  • Operation Scenarios (i.e., Black Start)
  • Web Deflections and Alignment
  • Additional activities as time permits
