EAP reminds municipal water utilities of filing requirements for low-income water program

June 2, 2022

State Energy Assistance Program managers remind municipal water utilities that they may need to file certain confirmations/verifications (needed to satisfy federal requirements) for assistance provided under the new Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP).

Please note that recipients of any assistance under LIHWAP were required to provide a release allowing access to the requested information; therefore, there should be no conflict with the Data Practices Act.

Please contact Commerce at Eap.mail@state.mn.us if you have any questions.
