Dept. of Health Releases Draft COVID-19 Recommendations for Utilities

July 2, 2020

The Minnesota Department of Health has released a DRAFT Public Utilities Recommendations and Strategies for COVID-19 Screening and Testing.

On June 30, the Department requested informal comments from utilities by July 7 to improve the document before its release. Any municipal utility that wishes to suggest edits/additions can do so by e-mail to MMUA by COB on July 6. MMUA staff will combine them into one set of comments and submit them to MDH on July 7. These Recommendations and Strategies will be suggested guidance for utilities and are not intended to be formal requirements.

You can also view a recording of the June 25 webinar in which MDH presented the draft to a small group of utility stakeholders, including MMUA.
