The Minnesota Department of Commerce announced that the first Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) grant award for federal fiscal year (FFY) 2017 was received Tuesday, October 25. The grant award is $101,494,836. This represents approximately 90 percent of the anticipated FFY17 grant award for Minnesota. The award has been processed into the state accounting system and Service Providers can now make payments.
