Apprentice Lineworker - 1000 Hours

Rochester Public Utilities, a division of the City of Rochester, Minnesota (pop. 110,000+), is the largest municipal utility in the State of Minnesota and is accepting applications for the position of 1000 Hour Apprentice Lineworkers for the 2019 Construction season.  These individuals construct, maintain and repair electric distribution and transmission facilities, overhead and underground, 120 volts through 161,000 volts, under the direction of a lead worker.

Minimum Qualifications 
A High School diploma or equivalent GED and completion of an accredited Line worker training program. 

Licenses and Certifications
Valid Minnesota Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) 

Wage Rate: $33.45/hour

Video Captures 2016 Public Power Lineworkers Rodeo
