Electric Construction Supervisor

Under the direction of the Electric Manager of Maintenance and Construction, the Electric Construction Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and instruction of foremen, crew leaders, and other employees of the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Section as required in the construction, operation, and maintenance of transmission, substation, and distribution facilities.

Education and Experience
Completion of an accredited two year Electrical Line Worker training program and five (5) years of full-time employment experience as a First Class Line Worker, with at least two years of lead or supervisory experience;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may also be considered at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Licenses and Certifications
Valid Minnesota driver's license

Desirable Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university.

Participation in training or seminars regarding supervision, electrical construction, safety procedures, hazardous material control, and emergency response.

The starting salary range of $94,097 to $110,701, depending on qualifications with advancement to $138,377.
