The Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association (MMUA) respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to its website, mmua.org. To protect online privacy, MMUA has implemented the following policy.
Information Collection In order to gain access to members-only content, to register for an MMUA event, to purchase a product or submit a classified ad on mmua.org, a user is required to give contact information including name, company, phone, and email address. This information is incorporated into MMUA's database maintained by MMUA staff. MMUA also maintains records of attendance at MMUA events, such as conferences, workshops, schools, and webinars.
If you are provided a default password by MMUA, and you change the password to one of your choosing, MMUA will not have access to the new password.
Information Use MMUA may use email or postal addresses for notifying members about upcoming MMUA events, new additions to the website, new publications or other services that might be of interest.
MMUA may use the contact information including name of general manager/CEO and other key employees and governing body members, company, address, phone and fax to produce a printed or electronic membership directory, which is provided free to members and sold to the public. MMUA does not otherwise sell contact information regarding member organizations or their personnel to third parties.
For any questions/concerns about this information use, please contact Rita Kelly, MMUA Director of Administration. If you no longer wish to receive commercial email from MMUA, send a message to email@example.com.
