MMUA's Annual Summer Conference includes a trade show for associate members to display their goods and services. This conference is a great opportunity to meet with municipal utility leaders from around the state. Associate members are also invited to sponsor events host a hospitality suite.

Trade Show & Reception

Tuesday, August 20, 5-7 pm (set up begins at 2 pm)
Our trade show and reception is a great opportunity for our Associate members to meet with the attendees of our Summer Conference. Attendees tend to be general managers, superintendents and other key management positions as well as their governing board members.

Set up beings at 2 pm (no early setups allowed). Exhibit spaces will be pre-assigned. Each person attending receives a name badge and access to the reception.

Registration Fees*

Exhibit Space with Table: $170 each / $210 each on/after July 13
Exhibit Space without Table: $170 each / $210 each on/after July 13
Attendees: $25 per person / $30 per person on/after July 13
Electricity: $30

You have the option to have a six-foot table with chairs or an open space to setup your own display.

DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS FOR THIS EVENT, WE ARE ALLOWING ONLY ONE EXHIBIT SPACE PER COMPANY. If you are interested in a second spot, let us know and we'll put you on the wait list. Any remaining booths will be offered on a first-come basis to those on the wait list.

Placement Requests: In the comment section of your on-line registration purchase, please include requests for placement (companies to be near or competitors to be separated from).

* Annual Sponsors are eligible for one exhibit space with electricity (if needed) and two attendees at either the Summer Conference OR the Technical & Operations Conference show. When registering on-line, select the Bill Utility or Company in payment options and we will adjust the fee for you. Credit card payments will be refunded with $20 processing fee. Cancellations/Refunds

MMUA will issue a refund, minus $30 a processing fee, for registrations cancelled by 4:30 pm on August 2, 2019. Sorry, no refunds issued for cancellations after August 2.

Another way to be a part of our Summer Conference is to sponsor an event. Below is a list of options we have available. If you have other ideas not listed, please let us know.

A sign with your company's logo will be posted at the event site and you will be listed in the official conference program.

* Please let us know that you are bringing cups, golf balls or providing beverages on the golf course by registering for these items. Some items have limited quantities available and we would like to acknowledge you in the program.

Hospitality Suites

Hospitality suites are a popular event that Associate Members can host. Call Bonnie at Breezy Point to arrange. Her number is 218-562-7189. Breezy Point does not allow food or beverages from outside the resort.

Lodging & Meals

Breezy Point Resort has a special package for lodging and meals for those attending MMUA's Summer Conference. Please use this printable reservation form to make your reservations. Breezy Point does not have online reservations for group rates nor do they take phone reservations. Reservation cutoff is July 19.

Meals are included with lodging. If you are not staying at Breezy Point or have a guest and/or child accompanying you, you will need to pre-order meal tickets. Please use the same reservation form to order meals. Tickets are to be ordered directly through Breezy Point and picked up at their front desk upon arrival.

Due to limited storage, they ask that packages arrive no more than 3 days prior to guest's arrival, or a storage fee may be charged.

Also, if shipping items that need a lift or Bobcat, an additional charge of $100 will be assessed. These items are to be shipped to their maintenance building at 30375 Airport Road, Breezy Point, MN 56472.

Photographs

By registering for this event I/we authorize Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association (MMUA) to photograph me at this event and use such photographs in MMUA marketing materials (both electronic and print). I/we understand that I/we will not be paid for giving this consent.
