Engineering Technician I City of Fairmont
The City of Fairmont is looking for an Engineering Technician I. Under the supervision of the Civil Engineer, this position will perform technical work on engineering, surveying, planning, construction, and related programs and projects.
The typical work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Additional hours will be required during the construction season.
Minimum qualifications:
- Two-year degree in construction- or engineering-related field.
Preferred qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a public works or engineering organization developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil-3D software pertaining to municipal infrastructure design.
The salary range for this position is $32.72/hour – $41.40/hour, DOQ.
