Interacting on the Issues
Regional Legislative debrief meetings for utility leaders
Protecting, promoting, and strengthening your hometown utility
Each year, we meet with commissioners and utility leaders about the outcome of the legislative session and its impact on local utilities. We also discuss regulatory issues and how MMUA supports municipal efforts, while requesting feedback on priorities for the coming year.
Join the MMUA government relations team and peers from your region to discuss the implications of new laws; explore opportunities; and network with others committed to protecting, promoting, and strengthening hometown utilities. Encourage your whole commission and city council members to attend and learn about how community leaders can help champion hometown utilities.
This event is intended for utility commissioners, city council members, and utility leaders.
Registration is free; however, advanced registration is required. Registrants must be employed by, or serve on a body directly responsible for, a member utility or an approved affiliate.
This convenient, one-day event will be presented at multiple locations in Minnesota each summer. Dates and locations are posted here when registration opens.
