Paper retains in a place in the communications pantheon, and here is a brief listing of MMUA produced publications.
MMUA, Missouri River Energy Services, Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency, and the American Public Power Association have developed the Toolkit.
The Toolkit is designed to give you an introduction to emerging trends in these key areas:
MMUA annually publishes 11 editions (combining July and August) of The Resource newsletter. This four-color, tabloid newspaper promotes association activities and provides in-depth coverage of the people, issues and events that affect Minnesota's municipal utilities. The Resource is a significant member benefit and popular advertising vehicle for those doing business with the state's municipal utilities.
MMUA's most recent Year in Review highlights activities and accomplishments from 2014. If you need a higher resolution file for printing, please contact us!
In an effort to ensure common construction practices consistent with prevailing safety codes, MMUA and its members have produced a distribution system Specifications (Spec) Book. The book has proven to be a handy reference manual. It also promises to simplify mutual aid efforts, as a growing number of Minnesota municipal utilities build their systems to a consistent shared standard.
Work on this manual has been ongoing for many years. It remains under development at this time.
Minnesota municipal and a number of privately-owned natural gas utilities benefit from the services provided by the MMUA Natural Gas Circuit Rider. The monthly newsletter offers useful information and timely reminders for program participants.
Hometown Connections is an American Public Power Association subsidiary that provides products and services designed to help municipal utilities meet today's new and pressing industry challenges. MMUA is a Hometown Connections Affiliate.
