MMUA and Minnesota Rural Electric Association (MREA), are pleased to offer the 2017 PCB Management & Recordkeeping Workshop on April 10-11, 2017 in Shakopee, Minnesota.
This program is one of few available that specifically focuses on the topic of managing PCBs and PCB items.
This workshop can benefit individuals responsible for PCB management at all levels of experience. Those who have recently been assigned PCB management responsibilities from a predecessor will find the class to be especially helpful.
You may also want to consider attending the Substation School which begins at the conclusion of this workshop.

Who Should Attend?
This school is designed to be a vital resource for PCB program managers to remain aware of changes in EPA and state regulations, interpretations and enforcement priorities. The class is most vital for new/rookie coordinators who are just beginning their education and are in need of comprehensive, plain-English instruction.

Mark Pennell is founder and President or Regulatory Compliance Services, Inc. (RCS), a PCB management consulting firm based in Springfield, Missouri.
RCS specializes in PCB regulatory compliance and risk management and currently provides diagnostic and educational services for approximately 400 electric utilities as well as numerous commercial/industrial facilities throughout the country.

RCS was recently recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as one of only two firms in the United States that meets the Agency’s internal standards for PCB regulatory compliance education [i.e., 40 CFR Part 761].
Mark interacts directly with all ten EPA regional offices as well as EPA headquarters in Washington, D.C. and has 30 years of experience in this discipline.
Certificates
Participants earn hours for attendance and a certificate of achievement will be available online. Participants should watch for an email notification from MMUA.
$700 per student for members; $750 per student for non-members. All fees increase $50 on March 15, 2017. Deadline to register is March 24, 2017.
Registration fee includes: Tuition, materials and supplies including a PCB Management Reference Manual, lunch on Monday, refreshment breaks and attendance certificate.
MMUA will issue a refund, minus a $25 per person processing fee, provided MMUA is notified of the cancellation by 4:30 pm on March 24, 2017. Sorry, no refunds issued for cancellations after March 24.
