Meter School is your once-a-year opportunity to obtain hands-on technical electric metering training. Participants select from two course options, dependent upon skill/work experience: Basic/Intermediate or Advanced.
A Pre-Conference is also held in conjunction with the School. The Pre-Conference is an ideal introductory course for those with little metering experience or as a "refresher" on basic metering. For maximum benefit, consider registering for both the Pre-Conference and Meter School (separate registration required for the Pre-Conference).
The Basic/Intermediate class is aimed at personnel with little experience with electric meters. Training builds on the Pre-Conference and will include more hands-on training.
The Advanced class is intended for those who have a good working knowledge of meters/metering. The course combines in-depth instruction with practical hands-on exercises that simulate scenarios that could occur at any utility.
