Children of Utility Workers Covered in MN Daycare Order

With students home in response to pandemic response measures, the provision of childcare has been a real concern for many essential employees. According to information released in relation to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s Executive Order 20-02, gas and electric utility workers and water treatment staff are considered in the second tier of Essential Workers. This appears to qualify these workers for certain childcare treatment of their children.
