2026 Generation School Pre-conference Workshop
New for 2026! MMUA is pleased to offer this supplemental learning opportunity, held in conjunction with the Generation School.
This workshop will delve into standard operating procedures that turn complex equipment into reliable, safe power solutions.
Participants will discover how following proven procedures can help prevent costly mistakes, protect people and equipment, and keep power flowing when it matters most.
If you are new to the industry, this course is sure to help build a foundation for confidence and success. It can also benefit any personnel who may serve as back-up at the generation plant.
Topics to be covered include:
- Startup
- Shutdown
- Inspections
- Emergency response
Members: $160 per person
Non-members: $240 per person
All fees increase $50 on March 6, 2026.
The Pre-conference Workshop is classroom training and personal protective equipment is not required.
If you are also attending Generation School, please bring work attire and personal protective equipment appropriate for a generation plant including:
- Safety glasses
- Safety footwear
Hearing protection will be provided.
