On Site/On Demand Training Program

In 1996, the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association (MMUA) began providing environmental, health, and safety training to its municipal utility members. Since then, the depth and breadth of the program have grown. Today, we offer instruction on more than 60 topics, covering everything from required training like A Workplace Accident and Injury Reduction (AWAIR) and Employee Right to Know for technical training, such as tree trimming and felling.

Over the years, interest in our training has increased, and we are pleased to offer our courses to a broader audience through this program. Members and nonmembers can take advantage of this opportunity, and best of all, the courses are available at a convenient time to ensure you and your team have the knowledge and skills you need to work safely and keep your compliance program on track.

Program benefits:

• The courses are available on an à la carte basis.
• Training can be customized to meet your needs.
• Qualified MMUA instructors will train at your facility, at a mutually agreed-upon date and time.
• A proposal will be provided for approval to ensure the training objectives meet your goals.
