Summer Conference 

MMUA’s flagship event is its Annual Summer Conference, where Minnesota’s municipal utility leaders come together to connect, learn, and lead.

This event is designed for utility commissioners, superintendents and managers, supervisors and crew leaders, and anyone invested in the future of municipal utilities. Whether shaping policy or leading a crew, there’s something here for you.

The 2025 event will be held in Rochester, Minnesota, August 18–20. 

Registration opens in late May.

The Summer Conference is your opportunity to:

• Go in-depth at preconference sessions exploring new opportunity and current utility challenges.
• Enjoy time with colleagues and peers by teeing off at the golf tournament or hiking a nature trail.

• Mulitple tracks are available including sessions for council and commission members, utility staff leaders, electrical experts, water/wastewater experts, and human resources/admin professionals.
• Explore the trade show where you will meet vendors offering the latest tools, technologies, and solutions for municipal utilities.
• Celebrate excellence at the MMUA awards ceremony, honoring outstanding individuals and utilities that make a difference in our industry.
• Learn how MMUA deploys your dues dollars to achieve results in Washington and St. Paul, and vote on a change to MMUA’s bylaws.
