Electric Line Worker      

The Wells Public Utilities of Wells, MN, population 2,424 is seeking applications for the position of electric line worker.  This position involves a variety of skilled line work in the operations, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground distribution systems and the operations of a variety of specialized related equipment and vehicles.  The ideal candidate will have completed a post-secondary powerline program and will have two or more years of experience in the industry and must possess a class A CDL or obtain one within six months.  Apprentice-level applicants are encouraged to apply and will be considered. 

This position also works closely with the water and wastewater departments along with operations of the generation power plant.  This is a full-time position with excellent fringe benefits.  The successful candidate will be required to be on a rotating on-call schedule and must be able to respond within 20 minutes.  Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
