Line Design Staking Engineer

Full-time; bargaining unit position; non-exempt; benefit eligible

• Melrose reporting facility, with a Monday – Friday work week
• Wage range is $41.79 - $52.08 per hour per collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans upon eligibility.

Core Tasks: This position is responsible for the design of the Cooperative’s overhead and underground distribution system.

Requirements: Strong communication, problem-solving, organization skills and computer and software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with overhead and underground line design, easements, permitting, electrical codes, construction and civil engineering drawings. Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Preferred: Five years of utility experience or a related field. Experience in geographical information system, global positioning system, permitting and/or easements. CDL license.
