Outside Utility Salesperson Evans, Lipka & Associates, Inc
Evans, Lipka & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Outside Utility Salesperson to cover the Kansas and Northwest Missouri territory. This is an immediate opening for a motivated professional with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical utility sales, engineering, and/or field operations.
This position offers a competitive salary, commission and bonus opportunities, a company vehicle, and an excellent benefits package. Minimal overnight travel is expected.
Candidates must reside within, or in close proximity to, the assigned sales territory. The role is primarily remote, working from a home office, with occasional meetings at our corporate office in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn and effectively communicate technical product knowledge, conduct product demonstrations in both field and office settings, and represent the company at trade shows and marketing events. Responsibilities include problem-solving, prioritizing tasks, and working independently as a self-starter with strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
This role is responsible for achieving sales objectives established by the company and its manufacturing partners, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), Rural Electric Cooperatives (RECs), Municipal Utilities, Electrical Distributors, Electrical Contractors, and Engineering Firms. Key customer contacts may include professionals in Standards, Design, Maintenance, Purchasing, Fleet, and related departments. A solid understanding of the electrical utility industry and its structure is essential.
