Utility Billing Supervisor

• Position Description:
  • Detroit Lakes Public Utilities is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Utility Billing Supervisor to lead our utility billing operations for electric, water, and wastewater services. This position oversees billing cycles, collections, customer service, compliance, reporting, and supervision of utility billing staff. The role works closely with meter readers and utility personnel to ensure accurate billing, timely processing of service orders, and exceptional service to our community.
• Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Municipal utility billing or governmental accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills
• Salary:
  • $76,356.80 ($36.71/HR) - $105,040.00 ($50.50/HR), depending on qualifications and experience.
