Water Reclamation Supervisor

• Position Description:
  • Detroit Lakes, MN a thriving and vibrant community with excellent amenities and an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise is seeking a qualified individual for the position of a Full-Time Water Reclamation Supervisor within its Public Utilities department, due to a recent retirement. Detroit Lakes Water Reclamation Facility is a state-of-the-art Membrane Biological Reactor facility and is operating in its fifth year. It is fully operational, provides excellent treatment results and meets extremely low nutrient discharge limits.
• Qualifications:
  • Associate degree (A-WW) in Water Environment Technology, Water Quality Science, or a closely related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible management and supervisory experience in a municipal government setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Minnesota Class A Wastewater License
  • MPCA Type IV Bio-Solids License
• Salary:
  • $103,272.00 ($49.65/hr.) – $135,324.80 ($65.06/hr.), depending on qualifications and experience.
