Executive Administrative Assistant
Position Description:
Provides confidential and administrative support to the General Manager and the Owatonna Public Utilities Commission. Prepares meeting agendas, serves as official minute take for meetings including timely posting of public meeting notices.
Composes, types, and edits correspondence, reports, and memoranda for Internal and external distribution as directed. Manages scheduling of meetings and travel as requested by the General Manager. Organizes, files and maintains confidential and administrative records. Maintains a central repository of current policies and tracks the status of pending revisions or approvals. Prepares content or materials for public communications as directed. Serves as a resource to Customer Service and assists in the maintenance of the customer billing system. Monitors office supplies and initiates purchase orders in accordance with procurement policies. Maintains a professional and customer-focused demeanor when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree in business, communications or related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu degree.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in administrative and/or customer service roles. Utility experience preferred.
