Minnesota Community Energy provides publicly owned gas and electric systems with substantial savings on wholesale gas or electricity costs by aggregating load for long-term energy purchase transactions financed by the issuance of tax-exempt bonds. MCE can also provide substantial savings on purchased power agreement costs for wind and solar installations.
