Journeyman Electric Lineworker New Prague Utilities Commission

New Prague Utilities (NPU) has an opening for a Journeyman Lineworker. The primary function of the position is to safely perform skilled electrical line work in the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of the overhead and underground electrical distribution system.

Qualifications:

• Applicant must be a graduate of an electrical lineworker vocational training program and have completed four (4) years of an accredited Apprenticeship program, has certification and experience as a journey level lineworker or hold a MN journeyman card. Consideration may be given to a 3^rd or 4^th year apprentice. Applicant must be able to respond to the NPU office within 30 minutes of call-out or be willing to relocate. Must possess a valid Minnesota Class (“A”) CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.

Salary:

• 2026 pay range $48.31-$61.61- dependent on experience, schooling, and training.
