Apprentice or Journeyman Lineworker Bagley Public Utilities

Bagley Public Utilities is accepting applications for an Apprentice or Journeyman Lineworker position.  This position includes the construction, maintenance, and repair of underground and overhead distribution lines, transformers, cabinets, insulators, fuses and other associated equipment.  Employee will be responsible for being on-call one week/weekend per month.  Day-to-day work varies based on the needs of utility department. 

Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Lineworker Training Program or have equivalent experience.  Applicant should have knowledge of the OSHA 1920.269 and have familiarity with the National Electrical Safety Code.  Applicant must possess a valid Minnesota Class B Driver’s License and CDL or the ability to obtain one.  Applicants currently enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program for Lineman are encouraged to apply.
