Full-Time Public Works Technician Water/Wastewater Operator Paynesville

The City of Paynesville is seeking applicants to perform a wide variety of skilled and general maintenance work activities and functions including operating, maintaining, inspection, and repairing the municipal infrastructure and equipment associated with the drinking water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution system; wastewater collection, storage and treatment system; center pivot irrigation system; stormwater conveyance, ponds, and treatment systems; streets, trails, and right-of-way; parks, recreation facilities; airport maintenance and operation; and buildings and grounds.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in general, skilled labor performing maintenance,  repair, and construction on municipal infrastructure. Experience in operating motorized equipment for municipal activities. Hold a MN Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License or equivalent out-of-state driver’s license with a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:  Two or more years’ experience is desired. 

 Pay Rate:  $26.92 - $34.76 per hour, plus applicable water/wastewater license compensation
