In this role, you will:
- Lead projects from concept to closeout—on time, on budget, and on point.
- Oversee permitting, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and stakeholder communication.
- Manage ongoing maintenance to ensure asset reliability and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and support emergency response efforts.
- Own contract management, construction oversight, and continuous improvement of project practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related technical field; and (3) years of progressively responsible experience in construction, utility, or infrastructure projects with strong background in stakeholder communication, including internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and related certifications to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may also be considered.
- Preferred candidates will have a background in transmission and substation planning, design, and construction; hold a PMP certification or demonstrate solid Project Management expertise; and possess working knowledge of electric utility operations, including NERC standards and practices of MISO or similar regional transmission operators.
