Journeyman for the City of Lake Crystal 

Position: Electric Utility Lineperson and/or Plant Operator
Reports to: Electric Superintendent
Supervises: N/A
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Full-time

Starting Pay Range: 40.09/hr. to 42.95/hr.

The city of Lake Crystal is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Journeyman. The successful candidate will be expected to perform skilled line work in the operation, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems, maintenance and repair of electrical facilities and systems; operates a variety of specialized related equipment and vehicles. May be asked to help with repairs and maintenance of the city’s power plant facility. Great benefits package including vacation, sick, ESST, and holiday pay. REQUIRED:

1) a Journeyman line worker’s license or certification.
2) a valid MN driver’s license with CDL endorsement within 1 year of hire.
